LIGER x LAB by Lane Crawford

Hope everyone had a great Chinese New Years and today was my first day officially back at work, with the new office being set up and a super long to-do list, it was literally back to back today…. excited about the new years and what it will bring, hope the year of the dragon will bring much needed excitement and creativity and a year of prosperity, peace and good health to each and everyone of you.

Now that we are back in full force its time to come out and PARTY!

It is my pleasure to announce one of the first projects this year by two of the coolest fashion companies in Hong Kong…. LIGER and LAB by Lane Crawford

Liger store is one of the coolest contemporary fashion stores started by Hilary Tsui and Dorothy Hui, both style icons and fashionista’s of Hong Kong, they joined forces a few years ago and now currently run their 2 locations of their boutique select store Liger Store. the store concept is quite interesting, a combination of a Lion and a Tiger to create this interesting synergy.

Lab by Lane Crawford is this new concept by Lane Crawford focused on Contemporary Fashion labels, edgier brands that the new generation are into, and I think its quite smart for Lane Crawford to see this growing demand of people that are looking to find clothes in this area.

and this time the two stores are doing a shop in shop exchange where Liger will be having a Pop up store in the IFC store of Lane Crawford and Lane Crawford is going to be having products in the Liger Store in Causeway Bay, and special products especially for this exchange.

A cool collaboration of minds, here below is the behind the scenes of the meeting, featuring Hilary (right), Rozzie (DJ) and Vernie (Director) and Angie (Producer) and Stinger (Lab Marketing) and Justine (Lab Marketing)

a special film will be shot by Vernie Yeung, one of the coolest up and coming directors in our generation, a super keen eye and edgy methods, he shoots only the coolest things and effects, you can see more of his work the day of the event and also here on his personal website iamverynice.com, I personally like the work he does for Canon because of the talent he features and also the work he did with Sony and Kaka the soccer player.

Another cool element to this exchange will be graphic work by Telephone Fung. She is one of the coolest illustrators in our area, known as the one who does the funny Little Miss interpretations but this time showing her versatility as an artist with more to life drawings.

featuring catering by the infamous YARDBIRD, my favorite spot, and music by DJ ROZZIE, come join us featuring some night of intense drinking and crazyness.
